I had developed severe anxiety and the daily activities I once loved no longer were easy to accomplish. I felt like I wanted to do so much more every day but could barely get through the day without feeling like I was enough. My career was helping people feel good about their bodies but I could not push myself. Before I started this class, I was feeling like something was “off”, that I was living my life simply going through the motions. Being a recent empty nester and being well into middle age I knew that this new stage could be something wonderful, but I just wasn’t feeling it.
Now I feel like I am living more purposefully and am paying attention to my feelings. I realize that I am experiencing grief over the changes in my life — children moving away, getting older, etc. I also realize that I hadn’t given myself a chance to grieve the things left behind and instead had been numbing with alcohol and online shopping.
I really enjoyed listening to the other wonderful women come together and share their stories. Andrea was an insightful leader. She listened so well to each person and came back with great advice which applied not only to the woman sharing but also to the topic at hand for the week.
After taking the class, I feel much more present in my life. I have learned to pause rather than numb. I have learned that I am wonderful just the way I am.

Before I signed up for the class I felt lost. Somewhere in life I lost my ability to trust my instincts and know my decisions were the right ones for me.
I feel much more confident now. I feel like I know myself better and I am happier with myself. I also realized that I needed to set boundaries with some people in my life. I’ve looked to them for approval way too often and I am scared to disappoint any of them. From small decisions to big decisions and this needed to end. Although boundaries are never easy, I now have the tools to have the conversations and feel good about it and about myself.
Not setting those boundaries creates a lot of worry, guilt and indecisiveness in my life that leads to lashing out on people I care about and perfectionism. Now I can change all that.
My favorite part of the class were the weekly calls. Getting to interact directly with Andrea is very valuable.
I feel a sense of calmness in my life. I know who I am and what my values are. I no longer doubt my decisions; big or small.

I believed I didn’t deserve the good things in my life, and so I was constantly self-sabotaging myself. I was stuck in a vicious cycle of trying to be a high-achiever, then believing I didn’t deserve the thing once I got it, then trying to be a high-achiever in another area to make up for it…make sense? I needed, and was READY FOR a straightforward, ACTION plan for my life.
I knew it was time, and it was safe, to dive into specific issues… body image, comparison, self-sabotage (I didn’t even know there was a name for this), worthiness, and shame.
Feeling like my body was directly tied to my worthiness.
Feeling like I was only one who experienced my particular sort of shame
Feeling guilty for taking a break and slowing down sometimes. Like, feeling lazy for just wanting to watch some Netflix and eat a few cookies here and there.
Feeling scared to take risks, because my inner critic shot them down pretty quickly
The community, the safe space, the sense of acceptance, naming and identifying my inner critic. I just felt less alone. I was scared to talk to some of my friends about my deepest secrets, because I was scared that I’d be judged or shunned. The online group gave me a chance to test the waters. I got to share my story with a group of supportive, like-minded strangers, which then gave me the confidence to be more open and honest with the people closest to me.
I’m feeling different, for. SURE. I’m feeling less alone. I’m feeling kinder to myself, more at peace, and more confident. I’m way less intimidated around certain people than I used to be. That’s like…. kind of really an amazing feeling. Instead of my inner critic telling me that I’m not good enough for them, it’s instead telling me that I am just as good as they are, and just as deserving to share my ideas. Granted, she’s telling me this with shaking knees and a trembling voice, but she’s telling it to me.

By enrolling in the Make Some Noise: Confidence Class, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, without modification, and acknowledge reading them.
To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older and have the requisite power and authority to enter into these Terms and Conditions.
You agree that you will use the program materials solely for your personal work and will not duplicate or share any of the curriculum or content you receive in this course for profit or otherwise. No program materials may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form without written permission.
Andrea Owen makes no representation or warranty that the information provided, regardless of its source, is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Andrea Owen disclaims all liability for any inaccuracy, error, or incompleteness in the content.
You are responsible for full payment of fees for the entire program, regardless of whether you actually participate. There are no cancellations or refunds. If you have an unpreventable family emergency (job loss, death in the family, etc.), we’ll take those on a case-by-case basis, as we understand that emergencies do unfortunately arise. In the event your enrollment is cancelled due to an emergency, you will be charged a non-negotiable administrative fee of $50 USD. To further clarify, no refunds will be issued for people who simply change their mind or do not participate.
You understand that the optional upgrade of two 50-minute private sessions must be used by December 30, 2021 or they will expire and will not be carried-over. You must schedule your sessions ahead of time. If you are late, the coach will not be able to go past the 50 minutes to make up for tardiness.
Cancellations will come up from time to time and rescheduling may be necessary for both parties. We request a 24-hour (one business day) cancellation. If appointments can be rescheduled, they absolutely will be, however, if the coach does not have open availability and it is the client that must cancel within less than 24-hours notice, that session may be lost. Please note that this is a rare occurrence.
If it is an emergency, you will be granted a reschedule. If it’s a no-call, no-show, unfortunately the session will be lost.
We respect your privacy, confidential and proprietary information, ideas, plans and trade secrets and must insist that you respect the same rights of fellow participants and of the company.
By participating in the course, you acknowledge that coaching is not to be used in lieu of other appropriate professional help and you are responsible for obtaining outside advice for legal, medical, financial or other matters as deemed necessary.
Andrea Owen, Elizabeth Applegate, and Sabrina Caverly will at all times exercise their best professional efforts, skills and care. However, they cannot guarantee the outcome of coaching efforts and/or recommendations and their comments about the outcome are expressions of opinion only.
Your Privacy:
We collect information including your name, email address, telephone number, and address in order to deliver services to you and provide you with a positive experience. The information you are giving is voluntarily, and by you providing this information you are giving consent for us to use, collect, and process this personal data.
You are welcome to request for us to delete your personal data at any point by emailing support@andreaowen.com. If you choose not to provide us with certain personal data, you may not be able to participate in certain aspects of the service.
With the information we collect, we will contact you to deliver the service you have purchased and process your payments. We use a third party payment processor that takes care in securing data.
Personal data that you provide us is stored internally. It will only be accessed by those who help to obtain, manage or store that information, and have a legitimate need such as a team member. We retain your personal data for the minimum amount of time necessary to meet legal, contractual, and accounting obligations.
