BE HAPPIER, RIGHT?

SO AS LONG YOU DO EVERYTHING RIGHT, DO MORE, AND HAVE MORE…

EVERYTHING WILL
BE GREAT AND YOU'LL
BE HAPPIER, RIGHT?

Dear Amazing Woman,

I see you. You’re probably in relationships that are “just okay”. You probably feel disconnected much of the time, even though you know you’re supposed to “live in the moment” like all those Pinterest memes tell you. You probably lack confidence in many areas of your life including parenting, your job or business, and your ability to trust yourself.

People always tell you to “just be yourself”…but most of the time that doesn’t feel like enough. You feel not smart enough, pretty enough, funny enough, thin enough, so many “not enoughs”. So, you hustle to try to be what people want from you, you try to do more to get to this place of “enough”, it never happens and you’re just plain exhausted.

Your self-talk is not helping— it’s really the source of everything I just mentioned, but you’ve gotten so used to it any other way of speaking to yourself feels like a foreign language.

You set unrealistic and unachievable standards for yourself, you inevitably fail and feel like shit about yourself.

You compare yourself constantly to other women— your body, your job, your marriage, and your life isn’t as good as theirs. They ALL seem to have their shit together except you.

If I had to sum it all up, you might also have these issues…

HIDING AND ISOLATING
If you have a problem or are in crisis you tell yourself, “I can deal with this myself. No one wants to hear my problems. I’m too much of a burden,” When all you really want is to be seen and heard and to connect with someone.
VYING FOR CONTROL

You want a guaranteed outcome, you don’t trust yourself, and you are desperate for certainty in your life. Maybe you like to micromanage people and “fix” them, because if they would just act right, you could be happier.

PERFECTING AREAS OF YOUR LIFE

You believe if you look and act perfect, everything will be good and you’ll finally get to rest and be happy. Maybe you won’t even start things because you know you can’t do it perfectly…or you obsess on making things perfect to avoid being hurt. Either way, it feels like a prison.
PEOPLE PLEASING & CHASING APPROVAL

You care and worry so much about being liked and just generally what others think of you, you don’t set boundaries and then get pissed and resentful when you have to do things you don’t want to do. (Those assholes!)

COMPARING

You compare your insides to other women’s outsides and end up feeling like shit about yourself pretty much every time. You love social media, but end up down the rabbit hole of comparing your life to everyone else’s…even strangers.
SELF-SABOTAGE
You hit a place of contentment and find yourself sabotaging different areas of your life: partnership, parenting, work, finances or health. And sometimes this happens because you’re an all-or-nothing woman– you go 100% on one area so the other areas suffer. You just can’t seem to find balance.
And guess what, sister? I know all this because I just painted a picture of my former life. I spent about 15 years being that woman. I tried so hard to be perfect, make everyone love me, to control everything, and my self-talk was horrible. In 2006 as my husband and I were about to start a family, he had an affair with a beautiful woman, left me for her and they started a family. I felt destroyed. I had completely lost sense of who I was. Until one day about a year later, I had had enough. I stepped into another way of being and radically changed my life.

it’s absolutely possible

to go from feeling like shit by pleasing, perfecting, and performing…

to a life that feels like a

Hell yeS!

Imagine

REACHING OUT FOR SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT
Connecting with others on a deep and intimate level. It’s about practicing the courage to reach out to the right people and asking for what you need.
SURRENDERING TO WHAT LIFE BRINGS YOU
Not “white knuckling it”, but actually letting go of control. Learning to listen to and trust yourself. Knowing that you’ll be okay no matter what gets thrown at you.
QUICKLY KNOWING WHEN THINGS GET TRICKY
Instead of falling into negative self-talk, perfectionism, people pleasing, and numbing by default, imagine knowing your triggers and choosing different behaviors right away.
UNDERSTANDING HOW SHAME DIRECTS YOUR LIFE
Knowing the steps of shame resilience and exactly how to implement it in your life in the moment.
LIVING LIKE YOU GIVE A SHIT
Having your own North Star (aka values) so you clearly know what’s important to you about how you live your life. This way you’ll know the difference between living your values vs. the old default behaviors.
MANAGING YOUR NEGATIVE SELF-TALK
Learning to catch yourself in the act of beating yourself up and choosing a different way to speak to yourself. One based on self-kindness and compassion.
KNOW HOW TO SET BOUNDARIES AND HAVE HARD CONVERSATIONS
Knowing exactly what to say when you need to set a boundary or have that hard conversation with love, kindness, and clarity.
BEING SUPPORTED BY OTHER WOMEN
Being part of a group of like-minded and like-spirited women whom you can trust with your stories.
HAVING A LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE PLAN
Not just learning what needs to be done, but learning how to implement all your tools long-term.
When you don’t know what to do when “life happens”, you stay stuck in the same patterns that make you feel like shit. It’s not your fault, you just don’t know any other way.

Let’s change that.

Before I signed up to the Mentorship Masterclass, I was feeling depressed and without purpose. While outwardly my life circumstances were the best they had ever been, inwardly I felt so lonely, lost and disconnected, and constantly beat myself up about that. How dare someone as privileged as I, feel so sad and unfulfilled? I was filled with guilt and shame about not being a good enough wife and Mom, but yet angry and resentful – feeling that I had no identity outside of those roles. I was numbing out with alcohol, and trying in various unsuccessful and maladaptive ways to run away from my life.

I stumbled upon Andrea’s podcast, became an avid listener, ordered ‘How to Stop Feeling Like Shit’, and started working through the book and its journaling exercises.  I could identify with every chapter! The Mentorship Masterclass came up at the perfect time for me – I was so ready to dive deeper into the work of managing my inner critic, overcoming limiting beliefs, leaving behind the over-achieving (wait, you mean, you can have self-worth without a long list of A+ achievements?!), catastrophising, controlling, comparing and despairing, and being strong.

Doing this work in a community of women was a huge draw for me and a wonderful experience. There were breakthroughs and tears, love and support, laughter and vulnerability. Together with Andrea, the group held space while I made action plans, had hard conversations with significant others, found self-compassion, and even asked for help on occasion! I’m well on the path towards a new career in line with my values, and have seen so much improvement in my relationships with those closest to me.

I most appreciate learning to stop and get curious about the stories my brain likes to tell; to ask “what am I making that mean?” when the gremlin starts up; and to know that I am worthy – just for being, not doing. And I appreciate Andrea – her warmth, humour, and relentless support.

I was a total people pleaser and my gremlin had total control over me. After working with Andrea, I’m learning to stand up for myself and my beliefs, determining what these beliefs are and what they mean to me, on the path to forgiveness of others and myself, and kicking my gremlin in the ass. I am exactly where I am supposed to be and this journey I am on is beautiful.

MENTORSHIP MASTERCLASS
Nicole Whiting, Lead Facilitator

I’m Nicole, entrepreneur and mother of two. I love to work with women with a deep desire to find and embrace their most authentic selves. Through achievable action steps, powerful mind shifts and fully supported accountability, we will shed the excuses and circumstances that weigh you down and expose the most beautiful, authentic, and unapologetic YOU underneath.

Together, we will create habits that will change the fate of your future. I believe in a philosophy of relentless progress, one step at a time, until we are rid of what we think SHOULD be and are fully present to what IS!

I'm a “life pacer” who turned to running during a time of tremendous hardship. Instead of retreating and playing the victim, I picked something extraordinary, ultra-running, to help me process and move the difficulties through my body. Now an ultra-runner and life coach, I meet women “where they are” and gets them across the finish line.

I live in Idaho and spend my spare time running. I wasn't made to be fancy. I was made for dirt pedicures, cold trails under my feet, and climbing mountains. A tomboy with red lipstick in my pocket.

I had developed severe anxiety and the daily activities I once loved no longer were easy to accomplish. I felt like I wanted to do so much more every day but could barely get through the day without feeling like I was enough. My career was helping people feel good about their bodies but I could not push myself. At my breaking point I realized I was no longer helping myself succeed but rather holding myself back from growing. I relied on too many people to determine my own happiness.

The only hesitations I had about taking this class came with self-doubt and fear of disappointing myself. If I didn’t take this time to work on me then why would I add more stress? However, I realized I am most important in my life and it’s time to take charge of my own happiness.

My biggest takeaway from the Masterclass has been learning how I tick and why I move the way I do. I’m allowed to feel my emotions but that taking the time to really open up to my closest friends and family allows me to grow and learn from my choices and experiences that way I keep moving forward.

I would recommend this to women in my life that go through the motions and ignore the reality of their emotions they’re facing daily at home, work, in relationships, and with themselves.

Before the class started, I was feeling a little lost and completely unfocused. I was feeling very insecure as well. Now, I have an understanding of why I may be feeling a certain way. I have learned that others’ actions or reactions to me have nothing to do with me.

I also enjoyed the trigger work and self compassion, more specifically I now have the tools to pay attention to when I’m judging myself and how to stop and “re-route” those thoughts.

My favorite part was the values work. I had never before taken the time to think about my values and now that I know them, I feel like I have a North Star that guides me toward my best self. It brings me confidence to know that when I’m feeling negative, insecure or avoiding situations I am out of alignment with my values and I know how to change it. The most important thing I learned is that I have power with awareness, and that is very freeing!

The Program includes

23 weekly, 60-75 minute calls led by your imperfectly courageous leader, Nicole Whiting. I have hand selected Nicole to lead the group calls. (Starting Thursday, March 26th and ending June 11th, 2020. Calls are Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 pm and 1 pm Eastern Time, respectively.)

10 audio lessons (20-30 minutes each) teaching you the foundational lessons of practicing to live your life from a place of kick-ass courage.
Downloadable transcripts of all 10 audio lessons so you can read as well as listen.

Weekly homework that you will be held accountable for, if you choose. This is an essential part of the process in learning this work, digging deeper on how it works in YOUR life, and applying it.

Private Facebook group to get support from your sisterhood 24/7. This is a place to tell your story, and be seen, heard and supported by women just like you. This is where you can ask questions and get help processing each lesson.

Before I started this class, I was feeling like something was “off”, that I was living my life simply going through the motions. Being a recent empty nester and being well into middle age I knew that this new stage could be something wonderful, but I just wasn’t feeling it.

Now I feel like I am living more purposefully and am paying attention to my feelings. I realize that I am experiencing grief over the changes in my life — children moving away, getting older, etc. I also realize that I hadn’t given myself a chance to grieve the things left behind and instead had been numbing with alcohol and online shopping.

I really enjoyed listening to the other wonderful women come together and share their stories. Andrea was an insightful leader. She listened so well to each person and came back with great advice which applied not only to the woman sharing but also to the topic at hand for the week.

After taking the class, I feel much more present in my life. I have learned to pause rather than numb. I have learned that I am wonderful just the way I am

THE CURRICULUM
Aka How Your Life Will Change
week 1
YOUR VALUES + DEVELOPING YOUR PERSONAL MANTRAS
Learn to live every day like you give a shit. We dive into what makes you, you. Because all this work doesn’t matter at all if you aren’t clear on who you are, what you stand for, what you’re after and what it actually looks like on a day to day basis.

Plus, we’ll create personal mantras for you to empower yourself. When things get tricky, you’ll have a saying that feels like home instead of falling into negative self-talk and the behaviors it perpetuates.

week 2

Community & Trust
What do your friendships look like and how are you showing up there? What does trust look like in your life? The importance of gathering your soul sisters and how to establish trust in these relationships. Whether your friendships are lacking or you have strong, lifelong friends, we’ll dig deep here and create a plan to get the support you need. Many of the women I work with tend to lean towards hyper-independence and it’s not sustainable.
week 3
Unwanted Behaviors
We pull the covers off the default behaviors you engage in every day, even though they don’t make you happy. Perfectionism, people pleasing, control, hiding out, and numbing just to name a few. (All from my book How To Stop Feeling Like Shit)
week 4
The Steps of Shame Resilience
These tools are science-based and will be the basis of the program. Learning the what and how of these steps will help you not get stuck in shame spirals or spiral of negative self-talk so that you can recover quickly from “falls” and be more in alignment with your values.
week 5
YOUR IDEAL + MOST FEARED IDENTITIES + TRIGGERS
How are you supposed to have a better life and speak to yourself with kindness if you don’t know when to implement your tools? Knowing your triggers is the key to becoming resilient to your negative self-talk and being able to move through life’s hard struggles.
week 6
VULNERABILITY
This week we look into the areas you’re most prone to not “show up” and WHY. We dig into vulnerability (ie how it was modeled for you growing up, what your core beliefs about vulnerability are) and you’ll learn why this is the key to courage, confidence, and having better relationships.

week 7

SELF-KINDNESS + EMPATHY
Most of your foundation of feeling good and being successful in your life is based on the way you speak to yourself. We’ll break this down, get to the nitty-gritty and create a new way of speaking to yourself, using what we’ve learned in the previous weeks.

This is integral to the shame resilience steps. More science-based tools on what self-compassion actually is; as well as empathy and why empathy is so important.

week 8
YOUR CORE BELIEFS
We get to the bottom of where that negative self-talk is coming from. You have to name it to tame it. Once you’re clear on your core beliefs, you can challenge them, unlearn the old ways, and start to create new beliefs.
week 9
BOUNDARIES AND HARD CONVERSATIONS
These tools are science-based and will be the If you knew how to set boundaries and have those hard conversations, you probably would have done it by now. In order for you to claim the life you want—whether it’s more balance, standing up for yourself, gaining more confidence, or having better relationships—you must have the tools to set (and follow through with) boundaries, as well as have tough, vulnerable conversations. Neither is easy, but it’s worse knowing you need to do it and continue to push it aside.
week 10
MAINTENANCE PLAN

Knowing all this information is great, putting into practice is another story. This week we’ll help you plan out how you’ll bring this work with you once we’re through. This will be intentional and specific for each student in the program. You’ll map out exactly what you still need to work on and have a plan to do so.

In all of the above modules, you will receive not only exercises to bring consciousness to the topic at hand but tools to learn to get past them. Keep in mind this work is a life-long practice and a process. The reason there are two calls per week is to not only give you options for days and times, but to open up space for everyone to get a chance to speak and be coached.

This mentorship program changed my life and it will for you too! Think about it: why do we do all this work for others and put ourselves last, but are afraid to do the work to put ourselves first? Now is the time to put yourself first and never look back. That is what I did by enrolling in the mentorship class.

I took the courage and slowly did the work to step onto the podium to first place. You are #1 and Andrea's mentorship class will help instill this into your mind, body, and soul. I now live my life knowing I am #1, but on those days I don't feel like that, I have the tools in my toolbox to change my mindset and get back to where it belongs. Trust me: this investment will pay itself in returns for the rest of your life. Andrea is truly amazing and I am so grateful for her and her abilities to guide you on your path to a kick ass life!

I want to thank you Andrea Owen for this class. I learned about my triggers (well, faced them), my masks, and well I can keep going on with the terminology but let me say this…. Most importantly I feel like a better person. A person I love. A person I wanted to be… But now I know I can and AM! Thank you again.

I am so grateful for this program – I feel like I have learnt so much and can definitely feel myself being more compassionate, along with my inner critic slowly becoming quieter. I have so much more awareness of my armor and triggers now and try to keep my values in mind more. This Masterclass has been a revelation to work through.

Tiffany NEBRASKA

What I’ve taken away is that I think before saying things (so I’m proud of how I’m showing up), I listen to others better, and I’m banishing the bullshit I don’t have to accept from others. Also, being just fine and content with being my true self and not trying to fit to what others think I should do or who I should be.
FAQS
How much time do I need to commit to this program?

There are 10 audios that are 20-30 minutes each (transcripts included). Calls are twice weekly (23 calls total, and these are optional, we ask that you try to make one a week) are 60 minutes long, plus about 30 minutes of homework each week.

It’s entirely up to you how much supplemental journaling, meditation, and/or reading you want to do. But, a minimum of 60-90 minutes per week to see changes in your life.

Will Andrea be leading the calls and answering questions in the Facebook group?

Andrea will be co-leading the kick off call on March 26th, and the closing celebration call the last week of the program. Nicole Whiting, lead YKAL facilitator will be leading the bulk of the calls. She was hand selected and trained by Andrea in this curriculum for this role.

Nicole will be leading the Facebook group and Andrea will pop in periodically to cheer you all on and do Facebook live videos.

What days and times do we meet?

The live video calls will be 60-75 minutes every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm and 1 pm Eastern Standard Time, respectively. You can use your smartphone or computer (international numbers are available if you want to use the phone). You'll receive a full call schedule upon sign up.

The audios/worksheets are for you to complete at any time during the week they are assigned.

What if I can't make the live calls?
A recording will be ready for you a few hours after each call and posted in Teachable, the software I use to house everything you need. I highly encourage you to carve out time to listen to the calls within a couple of days. Many people say the calls were their favorite part even if they couldn’t be there live!

Can I do this program privately with Andrea?

Yes, the cost is $14,500 and lasts six months. The Mentorship Masterclass is a fraction of that cost, offers you the same results (shame resilience), as well has the powerful addition of being within a sister circle.

Can I just listen to the recordings and do this at my own pace?
Yes, you can listen to the recordings if you can’t make the calls live. From running many classes like this before, I can tell you that you will get more out of the class if you make the time to follow along as we all go and participate as much as possible.
Will you offer this again?

Possibly, but I cannot be certain.

How do I know I am the right person for this?
In a nutshell, if you are a woman (or anyone who identifies as a woman) who struggles with negative self-talk, showing up fully in your life, perfectionism, control, isolation, comparison, and/or people-pleasing, this is for you.

If you are 100 percent ready to practice new behaviors, this is for you. If you’ve listened to my podcast and/or read my books and relate, this is for you. If you’re tired of mostly knowing what to do, but don’t know how to implement, this is for you.

How do I know this will work for me?
What I can guarantee is that if you listen to the audios and do the work, participate in the discussions (either on the live calls and/or the forum), are open to coaching, and do the challenges/exercises I give you, you will reach a new level of consciousness and will see changes in your life. After that, it all depends on you. I can also guarantee that I will be there to help and support you.

Because I keep this group small, there is no place for you to hide.

What if I am feeling nervous and afraid to sign up?
Then you are totally NORMAL! This is a big step and this is you being vulnerable and courageous. Being scared is part of the process and if you are, you’re one of us!

How much one-on-one support will there be from Nicole and Andrea?

Nicole will be able to answer your questions and give laser coaching during the group calls. Plus, she will be in the Facebook forum during office hours a few times a week to be able to answer any questions you have AND to celebrate with your wins with you!

There is an option to add on 1:1 sessions with Nicole. Please inquire for options to work 1:1 with Andrea.

Do you offer a refund policy in case I change my mind?

No. I expect you to do your due diligence by reading all the information on this page, filling out the application, and having a conversation with my team so that you can determine if you are a fit or not. I can promise you that we will be honest with you if we feel this program can help you or not. I do not accept and invite everyone that applies. This is by no means personal, but I cannot take people on whom the program and team are not the right fit for.

What happens once I sign up?
Once your payment is complete (either full or the first of the payment plan), Emily will direct you to a welcome page that has a short video + all the details you need.

There is also some important pre-work for you to complete (should take about 15 minutes).

“By the way… you are really good at this. Anyone who has the honor of working with you is fortunate indeed.”

Rebecca Robbins NEW YORK

I like to consider my stumbling onto Andrea’s name as a stroke of God. At the time, I was trying to disentangle myself from an abusive relationship, living over my friend’s garage, coping with my father’s declining health on top of still managing all my work and life responsibilities. In short, I was pretty much feeling like shit all the time. So, when I heard Andrea on two of my favorite podcasts promoting her book “How to Stop Feeling Like Shit”, I was immediately intrigued. What sealed the deal for me to get the book was hearing her relationship backstory, which I could really relate to. I really loved her energy and personality from listening to her interviews and was excited for what I might get out of reading a self-help book.

I found a wealth of gold in her book. When I read the chapter on the Imposter Complex, I was like, “Wait. This is a thing?! Get out of my brain!” However, I knew there was sooo much more work and digging to do. Enter The Mentorship. With all of the surfaces that got scratched from reading her book, I was ready, willing, and anxious to roll up my sleeves and do the work. The elements that drew me to the program included the length of time it would cover (12 weeks) and the fact that there was accountability worked into the program itself. In fact, I still text and/or video call one of my assigned accountability partners weekly and she has come to be a friend.

While, those were the factors that drew me to make the commitment to the program, aside from desperately wanting to feel better and change my circumstance in life, they were, by far, not the most amazing parts of this program. I have done a few other virtual personal development courses before, but this one was most definitely the best I have done.

I loved how each module was a week in length paired with a manageable amount of homework, excellent instruction of all content by Andrea, and a surprising amount of support. Andrea was extremely active in the Facebook group and commented on every post and comment anyone made. She would also give us all accountability nudges by tagging us in posts in between calls to check in on how we were progressing with our action commitments. The size of the group she took on for the course was perfect. Other courses I have participated in have had hundreds of people in them and it was very easy to slide under the radar or go overlooked. Not in the Mentorship. I felt like Andrea really got to know me and my circumstances personally and, for an online group course, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the amount of individual attention I was still able to get.

So, where am I now? I had set two main goals for myself to achieve during the course, and I achieved them both! By the end of the course, I had 100 days of not drinking under my belt and I had reached a place of clarity to be able to separate myself from an unhealthy and toxic relationship. I learned A TON about my inner critic and the role that shame plays in my life. Now when my inner critic starts “shoulding” all over me, I know how to spot it and am getting better and better at changing the talk. Through the mental clarity, I was gaining by eliminating alcohol and all of the inner searching I was doing, I had an epiphany of a career shift I was passionate about pursuing. This was the FIRST online course I’ve done that I saw through to the bitter end and did ALL THE WORK!! And I was not the only one that claimed this on the last call. I believe that this was no coincidence but a direct result of Andrea’s coaching style and involvement paired with an extremely well-designed program. I feel so grateful to have heard Andrea on those podcasts last winter and I know that my life will forever be better because of my time in The Mentorship. I’m excited to keep growing and learning from this Bad Ass woman! Thank you, Andrea!

** Update from Rebecca**

Here I am about a year-and-a-half post doing The Mentorship with Andrea and I can tell you all that the results I saw as a result of the program have not only been lasting but have become the springboard of some really kick-ass growth and change in my life. I'm now approaching almost 2 years sober. That's right. The girl who used to take breaks from drinking just to prove she could so she would never have to give it up for good, is actually choosing and enjoying a life of sobriety far more than her old life of drinking. I'm now 10 months into the healthiest relationship of my life with a man who validates my feelings, treats me like gold, supports my dreams, and makes me laugh (instead of cry) every day. I fully believe I was able to attract this kind of man because of the tough inner work I did on myself and improving my own ability to validate my feelings, practice radical self-care, pursue my dreams, and find joy in my life. Without a doubt, the Mentorship helped me learn, develop, and implement those skills.

As for my career, this past summer I decided to take the plunge, resign from my full-time job and am now pursuing my own private speech-language pathology practice and online parent coaching business full-time! I would never have been able to do that if it weren't for the clientele I had called in and the direct business coaching I received during my time with Andrea in The Mentorship.

It truly feels like I have shaken off almost all the chains that once had me tethered and am finally free and living a life of my own design centered around my hopes, dreams, and passions. That's not to say that I don't still have struggles or hard days, because of course I do. The difference is, I feel much better equipped to handle these struggles. I have identified and eradicated the aspects of my life that were causing me to walk around with unnecessary shame and when I do experience shame, I know how to rebound much quicker. Andrea's program has truly been life-changing for me and, what's more, she has continued to be a cheerleader on the sidelines of my life. Thank you, Andrea!

Before I signed up for the class I felt lost. Somewhere in life I lost my ability to trust my instincts and know my decisions were the right ones for me.

I feel much more confident now. I feel like I know myself better and I am happier with myself. I also realized that I needed to set boundaries with some people in my life. I’ve looked to them for approval way too often and I am scared to disappoint any of them. From small decisions to big decisions and this needed to end. Although boundaries are never easy, I now have the tools to have the conversations and feel good about it and about myself.

Not setting those boundaries creates a lot of worry, guilt and indecisiveness in my life that leads to lashing out on people I care about and perfectionism. Now I can change all that.
My favorite part of the class were the weekly calls. Getting to interact directly with Andrea is very valuable.

I feel a sense of calmness in my life. I know who I am and what my values are. I no longer doubt my decisions; big or small.

Thank you so much for the gift of the course you offer women! It has been life changing for me!

I was feeling stuck in my life and wasn't sure how to find my way out. I kept repeating unhelpful patterns. I recognized I needed help, but I couldn't do it on my own.

Andrea had such a way of providing support and validation while also challenging me. What surprised me most, though, was how much I got from the other participants. I was able to be vulnerable with everyone and learned so much from hearing about others' experiences as well as the coaching that happened for each of them.

I am feeling stronger, more motivated, and have turned a corner. I don't get sucked into problematic dynamics at work as much as before. I now have a path to move forward and concrete tools to respond in more helpful ways.

I want to thank Andrea for developing this life-changing program. I've done many programs and none have made the impact this one has. She followed through with everything she said she’d support me with in this program and for that, I am grateful! Anyone that chooses to work with Andrea is very fortunate!

I spent decades stuck on some difficult issues that I couldn’t get past and the negative feelings that were always attached to them.  I can’t remember exactly which I found first, Andrea’s podcasts or her books. But they piqued my interest in finding a way through the “swamp”. The phrase accompanying her podcasts really hit home for me too, “Life’s too short for it to not to kickass!

Through the Mentorship Masterclass, Andrea did a very good job of helping me and the other participants deal with initial apprehension and jitters that come with sharing personal experiences in a group of strangers. It was extremely beneficial to hear other people’s experiences and stories. The commonality was remarkable even in the very different circumstances! The program as it is presented with weekly lessons and homework was really well done.

I now feel armed and ready to press on. The resilience and confidence that comes with having the knowledge and tools to work through any of life’s circumstance is POWERFUL! It sure doesn’t mean it’s all gonna be easy however I now know I can find my way. I am grateful and thankful for the guidance Andrea provided and continues to provide.

My biggest takeaway from the Mentorship is that the story is just a story. I had done a lot of inner critic work. I wasn't really beating myself or berating myself up too much anymore. But, what I didn't have under control was the story I would make up about things. Instead of a shame spiral, it was the “Everyone is going to die spiral.” I would tell myself these stories, and I didn't really even realize I was doing it. The Mentorship allowed me to see my stories for what they truly were; stories. Not having that mental tape playing in the background has truly allowed me to feel the emotions and process them.
