Michelle starts out with telling us that every woman that comes to her has that one or two things that they LOVE to do, but feel like it’s just not possible to create a career from it. They sometimes have a really stable job that feels very uncomfortable to think about leaving. Here’s more of what you’ll hear in this episode:

I ask her what the tell-tale signs are that are easy for women to see if they are in a job that isn’t serving their soul. And I give a personal example of my first big corporate gig– “the job so many girls would kill for”– that was AWFUL. And the one thing that told me I needed to leave.

Michelle tells us the biggest thing that holds people back from going after their dream career is the gremlins in their head (I agree!). She gives us a great mantra to use for one week to help this.

Michelle is a huge fan/groupie of Judge Judy and recently got to meet her. She tells us the things she loves about her and why she’s been such a big fan for so many years.

Lastly, Michelle speaks to the notion that “going after your passions is bad advice”. We also have a discussion about when to make your passion your job, and when to make it your hobby.
