Hi ya Ass kickers!

Welcome to another episode of the Your Kick-Ass Life podcast! I’m so excited for you to meet our guest for today’s show, Tiffany Han. Tiffany is a business coach who helps creative women, like bloggers, graphic designers and cubicle jailbirds, take bold and inspired action. She helps her clients say YES to big things they've always wanted to start and to say YES to themselves! YES YES YES! Phew…got a little excited there.

On today’s episode we talk about her 100 rejection letters program, the kind of rejection you should expect when you sign up for the program, and how to set guidelines when you’re choosing an accountability partner in your life.

The idea behind her 100 rejection letters program began in 2012 when she was doing a book club for The Artist’s Way. They held weekly calls and on one of the calls they were talking about what life would be like if rejection weren’t a thing.

Feeling inspired, she committed to get 100 rejection letters! She started seeking opportunities and after only 3 rejections, she got so busy with the “yes” responses that she put the remaining 97 on hold.

We also talk about:

  • What does NITB stand for?
  • Why you should run with your good ideas, and not sit on them.
  • The connection between seeking rejection and being vulnerable.
  • If failure is simply data does it still hurt?
  • Why freedom doesn’t have to be big and dramatic.
  • And much more!

After her twins were born and she returned from maternity leave in February of 2014, she really wanted to step up her game professionally. So she revisited the 100 rejection letters idea and created a program around the concept.

It is designed with the end result in mind: for people to know there is so much opportunity in the world that we are shutting ourselves off from. On today’s episode Tiffany talks about some results people have had and what you can expect if you join her.

We also talk about how to find the right rejection accountability partner and set guidelines with that person. You’ll want to choose how often you and your partner will touch base, and you’ll both want to create your end games before you start. Know what it is you want to achieve and how you want to feel as a result of playing the rejection game.

Do you want a new job, a new relationship? How will you feel when you have whatever it is you are playing for? Create that for yourself and share it with your partner. And also think about who you are pitching to and how you can make it an easy yes for them, it’ll help you achieve your results.

Tiffany and I also talk about what freedom is (and isn’t) and how to stop the Pinterest shaming in your life! Listen in to hear our thoughts and suggestions on all of this on the 49th edition of the Your Kick-Ass Life podcast!
