Hard conversations, resilience, and boundaries are some of the cornerstones of personal development. And, they happen to be some of the topics covered during this week’s show. Joining me to discuss all things personal development is my guest (and dear friend), Fawn Germer. Fawn is the best-selling author of nine books, including an Oprah Book. She is one of America's top women's leadership speakers and is the top-ranked woman on the prestigious Global Guru's List of the best leadership and motivational speakers worldwide.
Together we discuss enduring great loss, coping with grief, and why boundaries are essential. When I think of one word to sum up our conversation, it is resilience. As Fawn so perfectly stated, “Every shitstorm ends.” And as her mother once told her, “It doesn’t matter what happens to you, it matters what you do with it.”

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉🎉🎉 This new year might feel especially important because of what we all faced in 2020. While many struggles are not over, I want to extend an invitation to those of you who might need some extra support.
My lead coaches and I work with women in a few different areas. Maybe you want absolute clarity on what’s next for you in 2021 and need help on a plan to get there. We can help you with that and give you 100 percent support along your journey.
My personal specialty is a couple of different areas:
The first type of woman I work with is someone who’s had success in her career– maybe she’s climbed the corporate ladder, or has her own business, or is a freelancer– whatever it is her career has been a priority. People would never know she still struggles with confidence, as well as taking her career and life to the next level. I help these women understand and accept that they’re just getting started, and that so much more is possible for them. I teach them the tools they need to create more success.
The second type of woman may or may not have put her career first, she might be a mom of small or grown children, or motherhood may not be in her cards. She loves bettering herself and has seen some good results from the podcasts and books she listens to…and knows she has a problem with her relationship with alcohol. About half the clients I take on struggle here. While working with me is not a recovery program, I’m a certified She Recovers coach and have nine years of sobriety and recovery so I can help you get clarity, create a plan, and help you activate massive self-awareness that is unique to YOU. Let’s talk.
